Platforms

Two platforms. One honest recommendation.

We specialise in Frappe/ERPNext custom implementations and are a Zoho Authorized Partner. We'll show you the selection criteria we use and let you validate the recommendation before we start.

The selection framework

Before we recommend a platform, we assess.

Criteria Why it matters
Workflow complexity Custom DocTypes, conditional approval hierarchies, industry-specific compliance — only Frappe gives full flexibility
Integration requirements WhatsApp, GST portal, payment gateway, logistics API compatibility varies
Team's technical comfort Frappe has a steeper admin curve; Zoho is more guided
On-premise vs. cloud Frappe supports both; Zoho is cloud-only
Data migration scope Complexity of moving from Tally/Marg/Busy/Excel varies by platform
3-year total cost of ownership Licence + implementation + support + customisation — both calculated honestly
Industry module availability Construction, steel, agri have stronger Frappe module depth

You receive a written platform recommendation with scored rationale. Not a slide. A document you can review and question.

F

Frappe / ERPNext

Open-source · India-built · No per-user licence · Full source ownership · Custom implementation specialists

Frappe is the right platform when your business has workflows that don't fit standard modules — industry-specific processes that require custom DocTypes, approval hierarchies that are multi-level and conditional, or compliance requirements that need deep system-level handling.

Why it's our primary platform for industrial businesses
  • Full customisation without vendor dependency — you own the source
  • On-premise deployment option for data-sensitive environments
  • No per-user licence cost at scale
  • Strong Indian compliance stack — GST, TDS, e-invoicing, e-way bill built in
  • Active developer community with industry-specific app marketplace
What to know before choosing it

Implementation requires a technically capable partner and proper process mapping investment. Underdone implementations on Frappe are the most common source of advisory work we pick up. When done right, it's the most durable system a mid-market Indian business can run on.

Our Frappe depth

We've built industry-specific applications on Frappe — construction project management (20+ modules, 100+ DocTypes), steel trading operations with rake management, rice milling workflows, and an AI-native accounting product. All development is ORM-only. No raw SQL. No core modifications. Clean upgrade path.

Z

Zoho

Cloud-first · India-compliant · Fast to deploy · 50+ integrated apps · Profezzo is a Zoho Authorized Partner

Zoho is the right platform when speed of deployment matters, your workflows are standard, your team is non-technical, and you want a predictable monthly cost without a large upfront implementation investment.

Why it works well for service businesses and CRM-first deployments
  • Strong GST, TDS, and payroll compliance built in — India-specific from the ground up
  • Integrated suite — CRM, Books, People, Creator, Analytics — same vendor, same data
  • Low IT overhead — no server management, no DBA required
  • Fast go-live for standard workflows — 4–6 weeks vs 10–14 for Frappe
  • Profezzo as Authorized Partner — direct vendor escalation when you need it
What to know before choosing it

Customisation is more constrained than Frappe. Complex, industry-specific workflows may hit platform limits. Best for standard-workflow businesses that want operational control without implementation complexity.

Our Zoho depth

Implementations covering Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho People, Zoho Creator, and Zoho One. Full India-specific configuration — GST, TDS, multi-branch, WhatsApp via MSG91.
